Congratulations to Steve Jacobs and wife Rosie on the birth of their little girl, Isabella Anthonette Jacobs.
Isabella weighed in at 2.24kg and was 49cm long.
Jacobs explained his daughter's names in a text to his Today show mates. "Isabella because she is beautiful beyond words and Anthonette after my late mum," he wrote.
Jacobs also admitted he dissolved into a "blubbering mess" at the birth. "I fell apart. It is a magic moment," he said.
